Four steps from first message to first night aboard

  1. 1

You tell us about your week.

Where you would like to sail, when (fixed or flexible), how many of you there are, roughly what you would like to spend, and the occasion.

  2. 2

    We reply within six hours.

We then send the gulets we would put forward for your group, each with her weekly rate, what is added to it, and why we think she suits you.

  3. 3

You choose, and we hold the week.

We confirm availability with the yacht’s owner or manager and send you the charter agreement. Signing it and paying the deposit secures your week.

  4. 4

We prepare the week with the crew.

Before you arrive, we pass your group’s wishes, timings and any dietary needs to the captain. The balance is paid ahead of the charter. You board at the yacht’s home port, and we remain your contact until you step ashore.

Everything a crewed gulet week includes

A gulet is the traditional sailing yacht of Turkey’s southwest coast: broad, steady and built for living aboard. On a fully crewed charter, she and her crew are yours alone for the week. A captain, a cook and deckhands sail her, prepare meals aboard and look after the cabins. Crew numbers for each yacht are on her page. You need no sailing experience. Your group decides how the days are spent, and the captain decides how to make them work with the wind.

What a day aboard looks like

Mornings start at anchor, with breakfast on deck and a swim before the gulet moves on. Most days include a few hours under way, under sail or engine, and lunch in a bay. Evenings are spent at anchor or alongside in a harbour village, with dinner aboard or ashore as you prefer.

When to go

The season runs from May to October. June and September pair warm water with quieter anchorages. July and August are the hottest, busiest weeks.

What the rate covers, and what is added

Weekly rate
The rate charters the gulet and her crew for the week. Each yacht shows a range: the lower figure for the quieter months, the higher for the summer peak.
VAT
VAT is added. Where it is recorded, the yacht’s page gives the rate; elsewhere your quote confirms it.
Food and running expenses
How food, drink, fuel and port fees are handled varies by yacht. Some ask for an advance against these costs (the APA), which the captain accounts for at the end of the week. Others price meals as a set board. Your quote says which applies and what it comes to.
Security deposit
Some yachts hold a security deposit for the week. Where it is recorded, the yacht’s page states it; otherwise your quote confirms it.

Booking with nothing left unclear

Your charter agreement is with the yacht’s owner or manager, and we arrange it for you. A deposit holds the week once the agreement is signed, and the balance falls due before the charter begins. The deposit amount, the balance date and how to pay are set out in your agreement before you commit.

Questions groups ask

Is the gulet ours alone?
Yes. A fully crewed charter is for your group only.
Can we choose where we go?
You choose the coast and the pace. The captain plans each day with you around the wind.
Can children come?
Families are who we arrange most of our weeks for. Tell us the ages in your group, and we will put forward gulets that suit them.
Do you arrange charters outside Turkey?
Turkey is our coast. If your plans lead elsewhere, we can also source crewed yachts in Croatia and Greece.
How quickly will we hear from you?
Within six hours of your message.
